Do you love J Rock music? So you have volunteered for J-rock events and want to volunteer for other events throughout
the year? J Rock North Promotions wants you to become a JNP Volunteer!
Volunteer Basics
As a JNP volunteer you must have previous volunteer experience. You will be called upon throughout the year to
help out at both dotcon and JNP events.
To be a JNP Volunteer you must be:
At least 18 years of age
Live in the Greater Toronto area or are able attend events in the GTA without difficulty
Have an open mind and be willing to try new things
Be able to attend the occasional volunteer meetings that will happen close to events you volunteer for.
Be willing to work a minimum amount of set hours at each event that will be predetermined and communicated to you prior to an
event.
Volunteer Criteria
As a volunteer a few points you need to remember are:
You will be the face of JNP and dotcon and one of the points of contact for all convention attendees as well as the general
public. As a representative of JNP and dotcon you will be expected to act in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
Any information you receive during your duties as a volunteer for JNP and dotcon should be kept strictly confidential.
You are not permitted to make statements to the public or media on behalf of JNP and dotcon without the express consent of the
JNP and dotcon executive staff.
Refunds
Refunds will be offered for events to volunteers who meet the minimum hour requirement for each event. The
length of the minimum amount required will vary per event.
JNP volunteers will be invited to join Staff based on their experience.
